Oh, thank yee! Now this is the kind of behaviour that shows you to be such a fine, upstanding, useful chap.

This is why I love this board.

Not lately. I <3 you too AJ. I actually didn't know that song either, I think Chelsea and I were maybe the only people in the room who didn't know what it was.

Pray to the God that you don't quite believe in
To bless this fleeting moment
Yeah, YEAH, YEAH!

I still have no idea what it was, even though it has been explained. That makes 4, with my friend, who also was confused.

It's the song playing on the soundtrack during the Louvre scene in National Lampoon's European Vacation. Does that help?

Weren't they talking about the QOTSA song?

If they were...

It was the second single off Lullabies to Paralyse. It is also a re-recording of the Desert Sessions version which can be found on Vol. 9+10. Much thanks to TRM for the .mp3 of that, I thoroughly enjoyed hearing it, all though I'm not sure it quite tops the original original yet...

My friend and I didn't know what the name of the song was, but we both recognized it. Thanks for the recording!

the fact that it's by queens of the stone age is the reason i don't know this song. sorry, but i have nothing but disinterest and disgust for that band.

me TOO!!! JEEZ, they really really need to do that live sometime. REALLY.

We'll play it the next couple shows. At least for me, it currently owns "most fun" status.

this is excellent news. if you guys could do it at the kexp show at neumo's, that would be even more excellent!

This is awesome. Talk more about this.

Why talk about it when it can speak for itself?

Woo! Thanks.

And there you go, I've created a temporal paradox. A minor one, I hope.
