Whoa Nelly! What's going on?
Someone has to fill me in on what's going on here... I thought the band split years ago and eventually gave in checking and rechecking the site... this has made my day, a new album on the way? Surely not... and howdy to all out there.. hope you're having a good day and a good life

We did break up years ago (April 2001, to be exact), but we got together again almost a year ago and have been playing shows on the west coast (mostly in and around Seattle) since then. We recorded a new album in January and are currently looking for a label to put it out. In a couple weeks we'll be headed down to South By Southwest in Austin.

Excellent news, you guys should come to England if you ever get the chance and play in Liverpool... that would be a classic. What's the new stuff sound like?

A lot of it is piano driven.

Maybe. Also possibly. Though Wine, Women and Song was much more upbeat than P/P so it's definately not all like that...

Also I really should stress that HD does need to come to England. But I would say that (and have before).

It's definitely a piano-heavy record, but I wouldn't say it sounds much like Pike St. It's more upbeat and loose, I think.
