The indie store here did not get in new So Many Dynamos, but it did get in new Lemonheads. Has anyone here heard it?

It's not... Well it's not terrible but I don't know if that's me being unjustly kind to it due to my love of Evan Dando. Kate Moss should never sing on anything (obviously) and I'm tired of straightfaceseriousheartonsleeve covers of Beutiful but the Wire cover is really properly good and the whole thing is just... it's likeable, in that Evan Dando way.

Still: The worst Lemonheads album that I've heard. Not as good as the self titled, let's say and none of these are up there with the Lemonhead's best covers. If you listen to it in isolation it's not a bad record but if you think about what Dando's done with other people's songs in the past, it's kind of a let down.

[I like it more than the new Placebo though ;-)]

They've got the album streaming in, like, twenty different places. It's not hard to (legally) find.

The self-titled album didn't do much for me, and neither has this. But you can't expect much from an album that was just an admitted excuse to pay for a painting.

My LBL bonus disc is Ethiopian.

Let's just talk about good Lemonheads.

"Come on Feel..." is a better record than given credit for.

So frustrating "Mrs. Robinson" gets more recurrent airplay than "Into Your Arms."

We can talk about it later
But there's no later
Is there?
