These kids have never heard of Harvey Danger

Quote:"We're doing something that's never been done by a band before," says lead singer D.A. Wallach. "It's great because when you put out free music, people can spread it around as much as they want. And right now as we're just trying to expose ourselves to more people. Every new supporter helps."

Probably both. Releasing your record free isn't a fresh idea.

Especially not now that Radiohead also kind of did this as well as Girl Talk and The Netherfriends and a couple of guys on the streets of Chicago handing out their rapping on burned CD's and just about everyone who isn't on a major record label. Don't get me wrong I give them props for doing it, but it is a little annoying to hear them say no one else has done it when it is already a semi-popular in the indie music scene. I suppose I'm more mad at CNN for being ignorant of the fact that this has been going on for some time. I mean seriously who didn't hear about In Rainbows? I'd like to know where their cave is.

Disembodied ringlets from hair that looks like Carrie Underwood's.

In the same intereview they claim to be doing something new, and then cite Trent Reznor (NIN) as a reference, who has been leading the pack lately in regards to significant free music.

who are these clowns?

Are these the two dudes from that movie "harry potter and the goblet of wizards"?

looks like it.

Ugh, if I were them I'd be giving this away too. It sounds like something rejected from a RISD student's mixtape.

18. Boy totally-not-a-genius. English Literature with Creative Writing. I am not very good at the English Literature part and may not pass this first year.

Sad
