Godzilla vs. Monster Zero

Godzilla and Rodan defeat Ghidorah, on Planet X, while aliens clone hot chicks, wear black leather, and don cool sunglasses...

Yes! I remember now. They beam him out of the water!

And it's all just a ruse! Oh no!

Oh hell yeah. It's a fun little movie, though I don't know if they explained why Kong somehow got so much larger.

If they didn't make him larger, it would've been a handicap match...

My favorite scene, is Kong shoves a tree into G's mouth (innuendo), and then Godzilla tries to use his breath to get it out, setting his head on fire...

Didn't it have something to do with the beverage those islanders gave him? Or was it the electricity...

"Gamera, The Brave":

A touching film, that takes place 33 years after the original Gamera, gives his own life, to once again save the world, (or a remote area of Japan).

In 2006, our lead human character, Toru, finds a very small egg that hatches a pale box turtle, and within 4 days, grows to the size of a Volkswagen Beetle.
Toru then realizes that his pet is Gamera, and needs to move on, to once again save the world.

The best scene of all is when Gamera needs a large red glowing stone, that looks like an ashtray, to maximize his powers. A child takes this stone from a hospitalized girl, and runs against the flow of mass evacuation, to deliver it.
When the girl is stopped, Gamera's spirit, or what could be possibly be described as the best ever Nike commercial that was never made, wills another child who runs up, takes the ashtray, and continues on, from child to child, like some psychotic baton race.

Stay tuned for the DVD extras, where the director of the film will compare the making of a film, to opening a Burger King.

Thread Merge :

This isn't as funny as the debate that was raging over people wondering if it's Godzilla,
or Lizzie, from "Rampage"...

BTW. Dr. S,

My friend Max, hates going up hills...
We call him "Anti Climb Max"...

Hahahaha I saw that the other day. Love the concept, but wasn't the biggest fan of the art.
