RE: Sean Nelson- Make Good Choices
I just ordered the vinyl+usb+shirt

I never heard back from them about the shirt design, so hopefully I like it.

Are we actually expecting a lot of HD stuff we haven't heard before / better quality than before, or is this more just for the convenience factor?

im imagining just regular hd stuff. and, im not expecting things *we've* never heard, maybe the 'rare' is just stuff from dead sea scrolls.

RE: Sean Nelson- Make Good Choices
i love love LOVE this song. i must've listened to it 20 or so times today already. and i don't normally enjoy repeat listens of songs. but i could listen to this over and over and over.

i believe these are 99% correct. thanks AnExtraInSomeBackground for the help. There's only one line i have doubts about. but it may be correct. new corrections in bold. line in doubt in brackets.

i promise, everything's alright
it's just i think of you sometimes
i like to stay up after midnight
and listen for the chimes we used to hear
so loud and clear
but i haven't heard that song in years

a wise old man was once heard to say
the things that always cause us the most pain
are those for which we are always the least prepared to walk away
that's probably why i had you on the brain

when i learned i couldn't count on you
when i was my most desperate
when nothing that you said was true
and breaking down my esprit de corps
was your most beloved chore
still i couldn't close the iron door
i saved a little face
it was a fool's economy
it ended in disgrace
screaming get the hell away from me
i put you in your place
i knew you wouldn't stay there
but you had such vulgar taste
you even had the gall to ask for car fare

i thought of calling you up yesterday
and then i came rushing back to my good senses
it was all i could do just to obey
i started hearing voices warning me to make good choices

i saw your shadow play
and thought what kind of farce is this
[but what i said was dying breed]
your smile was disarming
'cause nothing is more charming
than a narcissist with whom you've just agreed
make good choices
thank you very much indeed

i used to dream of you nightly
i would wake up screaming
i'll try to put it politely
when you're not here my heart rejoices
don't come near me, make good choices
your face was perfectly straight
you said that basically
most people hate their friends
i say it depends
i have so much, so much, i wanna tell you
and nowhere to begin

That's what I figured. "Rare" probably has a much weaker meaning here.

Ordering the sheeshster out of this. I NEED MORE SHIRTS FOR I AM A DOCTOR YOU SEE

Edit: Edited out the word "sucka", because I'm a doctor and we don't put up with that kind of sheeshster.

CAUTION: Over the weekend, a short psychic escaped from police custody.
He is to be considered a small medium at large.

"Expecting" and "Desperately Wanting" are two different things.

You're evil. (Yes.)

We can talk about it later
But there's no later
Is there?

RE: Sean Nelson- Make Good Choices
really really pleased to see this. although, based on the tracklist and the likeness of this version of "make good choices" to the myspace rip(?) i have from years ago there's only 2 songs i haven't heard and listened to at great length along with the mortal enemies moniker.

we need some more info on what's on this usb. intriguing if it was sean's idea to include it, which would make it more likely there is anything actually "rare" on it.

Do you know if these are actual re-done versions of songs or just recordings assembled from the past 8 years?

RE: Sean Nelson- Make Good Choices
I was disappointed way back when Brooklyn Bridge was an original song, and not a cover of the theme song to the TV show. That song was the jam.

RE: Sean Nelson- Make Good Choices
I just found out my friend Jeff actually runs Really Records. I knew he did record-label stuff when not touring, but didn't realize he was actually the big man on campus over there.

i'm assuming that to be true based on "make good choices" being, as far as i can tell, exactly the same track. though i expect there to be some surprises or changes, and it'll be great to have the tracks in much better quality and on a cohesive album.
