No need to feel kinda in the dark:

Conveniently, Lester Ballad is the only song I can do on bass so far, and I have willing band members.

Inconveniently, I'm still horrible at bass.

But, this plan gives me incentive to work a lot more at being less horrible!

Oh yeah. I'm going to have a fucking blast with this.

CAUTION: Over the weekend, a short psychic escaped from police custody.
He is to be considered a small medium at large.

Oooh. This sounds great. However I'd sort of like to re-record my contribution. All this karaoke might have improved my voice a little... Or maybe record something on the banjo. Something from LbL perhaps. WWS perhaps. In the redneck sty-lee of course.

Also I'd totally be up for any kind of group efforts, but I'll need to be back in my home country first.

many moons ago, my band covered Loyalty BLDG, and it was kind of bad, but we had a blast and no one in the crowd knew the song anyway... I don't know if we still remember it.. I definitely don't... I'll pitch the idea, we can learn just about any of 'em if we can do that... I'd maybe like to do "Jack the Lion" Merrymakers, not Christmas EP... or "Cold Snap" if we buy a sweet keyboard like we want to.

Should anyone come up with an interpretation of an HD song that requires some particularly wicked kazoo or triangle work, I'm your guy.

Ibid for the Midwest. I can't sing or play a conventional instrument, but beyond that, I'm your* man!

*Offer not valid outside the Midwest. Some restrictions apply. Move zig for full details.

We should set a deadline or we'll just keep talking about how awesome this will be. I vote for the end of June for selfish reasons. I will have moved to Omaha and my new band will be in full swing by then.
July 1st?
Plus, I think I counted 4 additional tracks since my last count, which makes 10 in all.

Loyalty Bldg/Jack the Lion/Cold Snap - by Junker
Lester Ballad - by disembodied ringlets
Mainland - by franky1029
The Same as Being In Love - by Myrrth Sicopath

I'd do it, but, I'd never make that deadline. I don't think I'd be able to choose a song in the next 2 weeks.

Visit me or don't.

I can try to do something new for July 1st, but given the mass of stuff happening to and at me right now, it may just mean that I only use my old track. Mind you, me only singing once on any album might be a good idea...

Since we don't have anything from LBL yet I was thinking I might try to convince my friend who knows violin to try to convert What You Live By or Diminishing Returns and doing the vocals myself. This may not be possible, I still have to talk him into it. I'll get back to you.

Disembodied ringlets from hair that looks like Carrie Underwood's.

What if we set the end of summer as the deadline? End of August?
