I Got Your Groundswell...Right Here...
From John:

"The Harveys know they're always welcome on any stage the Long Winters are on, in any combination.
But getting them to go out to Chicago for that once in a lifetime show will take more than an invitation from me.
It demands a groundswell of fan support!"

John

Sounds like a triple-dog dare to me...

This isn't some sparse applause after a show, to get the band to come back for an encore they were gonna do anyway, it's up to us...

Bound Stems also gave their blessing...

BStems don't have boards, so I'm trying to rally support here as well...

Who's committed to going to Chicago for Harvey Danger, TLW & Bound Stems???

I'm there!!!

That's a Saturday, right? I've got three-day weekends; I'd try to swing it.

I was ready to be there until I discovered that the show was the same goddamn day I graduate from college.

This is where a "MySpace team", would be tons more effective than a "Street Team":
Post bulletins, send messages to friends, etc...
Most importantly, send them HERE!!!

Word. I would totally donate money and pay for a ticket for this to happen. I blew well over $200 the last weekend I saw you guys in Chicago and my only regret is losing my camera and a booklet of 20 CD's one of which was my third copy of WHATMMG. But I can't lose them twice. With the exception of WHATMMG, which I've managed to lose thrice. I would donate up to $50 if the ticket was only going to be $12 like last time. I would donate more if I weren't so poor. Come on. I need this. Would it make a difference if I said I was dying? It'd be a lie but I could say it.
