Last.fm
Agentzero, I've sent a friend request to youon last.fm, but i didn't know if you'd know who I was... anywho... How many of you guys use last.fm??? My audio player sends all this happy info automatically, so I've been kinda messing with it lately... Other than a listening habit tracker, is there much point to it???

I'm linked through the little w's below every post I make.

I listen to the recommendation radio once in a while. I think it's neat, but no less pointless than most websites. There are all sorts of features to play with, but nothing groundbreaking.

It has fucked with Winamp to the point where I can't play a CD without there being a problem.

My LBL bonus disc is Ethiopian.

On the plus side, it lets me know when you're listening to Plastic Ono Band, which puts a giant smile on my face.

Surely this tells you that you should not be using WinAmp?

Because, you know, it is not very good in my opinion!

Yea, like AgentZero said, there's the radio station. I usually like to search to see if one of my favorite bands has a 'group' on there (a la silverchair and Harvey Danger) too. >_>

I like it, it's less hassle than a lot of the other ones. It's small, too.

My LBL bonus disc is Ethiopian.

Fair enough, I tried it once and found it to be hideous and nasty and impossible to use.

Possibly I am an idiot. Possibly.

Winamp used to be good way back when... But it doesn't cut it for me anymore. Being a Mandriva Linux user, AmaroK is the default music player, which I love to death. The UI is easy, organization rocks, and who doesn't love being able to wiki the band that's currently playing on the fly??? Sadly, you windows users can't enjoy this beautiful program yet...

I heard Linux you have to program yourself or at least, most of it. Is that true? O_o
