Shrubneptune here, long time listener, first time caller.

The demo sounds great! Well done.

Alas, a trick lurks within the treat.

The track labeled "Heroine" is actually a repeat of "Ignore Me."

[Insert lame "jonesing for Heroine" joke here.]

As long as it sounds as great as the rest of the tape, I can wait a little longer.

Vraiment bizarre. "Heroine with an E" is the best thing here, so I hope it is not a mistake on the tape.

Even if it is, hearty thanks to innerturmoil for this!

Fixed. Wish I could say that was on purpose.

I can't believe how much better "Scar Tissue" sounds. Not sure "Dining Car" is better, but it's definitely different.

I can't wait to listen on repeat after work. I think I'm making out lyrics I couldn't before.

Awesome. Thanks for this! Great to have a high quality version of the demo.

- ThaJinx - 11-03-2011 09:16 AM

I'm totally blown away by the drastic improvement in sound quality. Hats off to you, friend, and thank you for sharing this with us. It's like listening to totally new recordings.

Listening to a clear version of the demo tape on my honeymoon in Jamaica. The only way this could be better is if the band was here playing a personal show for us.

Double post, holy shit these sound so much better than whatever I had before by a million.

This explains sooooooo much...

computer got deaded recently - lost all music (in addition to documents, pictures, etc) - megauploads gone - would it be possible for anyone to mediafire this, so i can curl into a ball, rocking back and forth on my bed while muttering the lyrics..?

200+ gigs of music.. gone.

(sorry, my freakin world seems shattered, despite this being a not-so-awful, it-wont-take-forever-to-build-back-up kind of thing)

I'll get it uploaded in the morning; I have your original ZIP.

If you'd like me to pass along any of the FLACs from the actual CDs, let me know. I've got everything but the Circuit City EP.
